LOVEly Couple
These two lovebirds are adorable and cute and perfect for a gift for your boyfriend/girlfriend or for another lovely and adorable couple that you know. The two dolls are both slim and tall with their wooden bodies, arms and legs and their white clay faces say “you are special to me”. They are also surprisingly light. She is red and he is blue. The decoration is made with thin black lines, drawing their facial features, their hands and their clothes. Each doll has a wooden block at the base of its feet in a matching color, so that you can place them anywhere you want and in any position you want. Have fun!

Ceramic sculpture desk accessories

This is a small white clay handmade head on a wooden stand. This type of art is suitable for both private collections and a gift.

How it’s made
The heads are made of porcelain, red clay or fire clay. They are entirely hand made and each one of them is unique. For the coloring one can use different glazes. The technology of workmanship is also unique and takes time and patience. With some of the heads one can use glass, metal and wooden elements. Each one of them brings its own individuality and unique spirit.

A little more about the technology: after the heads are molded, they have to be left to dry, after which they are being baked in a special oven at about 1000 degrees Celsius. After being baked once, the colors are laid and the baking process is repeated. Depending on the desired effect, the heads can go through the oven a third time, if working with other types of colors.

If you’re into the African/ Bushmen theme in your home, then this is perfect for you. These cuties all look like they came from that African tribe, fighting off lions and hunting antelopes. All three heads are small, made of red clay, which, when baked, turns chocolate brown (that is why they look kind of tasty, too). They have red clay necks, which also resemble African neck decorations. The heads are placed on wooden pedestals, slightly smoothed and left in their natural color and texture.
