LOVEly Couple
These two lovebirds are adorable and cute and perfect for a gift for your boyfriend/girlfriend or for another lovely and adorable couple that you know. The two dolls are both slim and tall with their wooden bodies, arms and legs and their white clay faces say “you are special to me”. They are also surprisingly light. She is red and he is blue. The decoration is made with thin black lines, drawing their facial features, their hands and their clothes. Each doll has a wooden block at the base of its feet in a matching color, so that you can place them anywhere you want and in any position you want. Have fun!

Can this little guy join the circus? He sure has got the looks. His make-up style – red lips and big eyelashes – is perfect for the gag; and the hat is… well, a state of the art! It is made of engraved wooden piece, painted in red and blue with black lines in-between. The wooden piece covers the back of the head, where the red color fades into pinkish shades. This is a small porcelain handmade head on a wooden stand. This type of art is suitable for both private collections and a gift.

How it’s made
The heads are made of porcelain, red clay or fireclay. They are entirely hand made and each one of them is unique. For the coloring one can use different glazes. The technology of workmanship is also unique and takes time and patience. With some of the heads one can use glass, metal and wooden elements. Each one of them brings its own individuality and unique spirit.
A little more about the technology: after the heads are molded, they have to be left to dry, after which they are being baked in a special oven at about 1000 degrees Celsius. After being baked once, the colors are laid and the baking process is repeated. Depending on the desired effect, the heads can go through the oven a third time, if working with other types of colors.

This is a 3D wall sculpture of a ceramic art doll. Junior is a teenager on the loose. As you can see he doesn’t have his vampire teeth yet, but he’ll try to bite you anyway (Father Vamp tried to explain to him once, but he just wouldn’t listen). He’s yellow from head to toe and is wearing a smart raincoat for a more dramatic effect.
