He and She, Abstract Figures set of 2
These two are totally into each other and in color unison. She’s red, he’s blue and they’re both made identically: clay faces and wooden bodies, decorated with black and white lines. They look like they’re wearing the same outfit, don’t they? Of course, when it comes to the face decoration, she’s the one with the makeup: black and white for the eyes, black mascara and an amazing lipstick. She’s definitely classy. He is not wearing any makeup, but he’s simple and stylish – right to the point.
They both have hooks on the back for easy hanging.

This mask is entirely handmade. To make it we used multiple ceramic elements, ceramic glazes, glass, wood and acrylic paint. The abstract idea, implied in this mask gives it a unique spirit and character. When you look at the mask, besides the face you see there, you can find many other things. In other words, this mask directly involves your imagination. On the back of the mask there is a small hook, which you can use to hang it on the desired place. The art piece is tagged by 99heads.

How it’s made
The heads are made of porcelain, red clay or fireclay. They are entirely hand made and each one of them is unique. For the coloring one can use different glazes. The technology of workmanship is also unique and takes time and patience. With some of the heads one can use glass, metal and wooden elements. Each one of them brings its own individuality and unique spirit.
A little more about the technology: after the heads are molded, they have to be left to dry, after which they are being baked in a special oven at about 1000 degrees Celsius. After being baked once, the colors are laid and the baking process is repeated. Depending on the desired effect, the heads can go through the oven a third time, if working with other types of colors.

This is a handmade ceramic sculpture. A unique technology has been used: the sculpture is molded, than baked and painted with ceramic glaze. The final touch is a decoupage technique with white paper and original hand painted elements for the face. The sculpture is placed on a marble stand.
