This devil sculpture is totally unique and made in our 99heads studio. It is made of white clay and then glazed with ceramic glazes. The horns of the devil are actual deer horns, which are tightly fit on the head. The combination of handmade and natural materials contributes to the unique look of the sculpture. The Totem Head

The name says it all – this small pendant represents a small part (or a small head) of a totem. There’s definitely a tribe vibe going on here and it’s stronger than ever. What’s interesting about this small totem head is the feeling it brings when touched… Because of its similarity to a totem it brings the energy of an old tribal chief and his power to communicate with the gods. There’s a special place under the head where you can put your finger and instantly feel something good and deep…

The abstract idea, implied in this mask gives it a unique spirit and character. When you look at the mask, besides the face you see there, you can find many other things. Ceramic sculpture desk accessories

This is a small white clay handmade head on a wooden stand. This type of art is suitable for both private collections and a gift.

How it’s made
The heads are made of porcelain, red clay or fire clay. They are entirely hand made and each one of them is unique. For the coloring one can use different glazes. The technology of workmanship is also unique and takes time and patience. With some of the heads one can use glass, metal and wooden elements. Each one of them brings its own individuality and unique spirit.

A little more about the technology: after the heads are molded, they have to be left to dry, after which they are being baked in a special oven at about 1000 degrees Celsius. After being baked once, the colors are laid and the baking process is repeated. Depending on the desired effect, the heads can go through the oven a third time, if working with other types of colors.

The Reds

They are not angry, or embarrassed. They are simply… red. The Reds may look a bit serious or even sad… but maybe that’s just the way they are… red. Red faces with red lips, red eyes, red noses, everything is… red. And that’s OK, because they will look awesome in your stylish red room – the kitchen, the bedroom, the living room,… the bathroom? And the black lines gently emphasize the faces. Each face is made of red clay terracotta tile, which gives it a unique texture. This sculpture symbolizes the duality of man and his place in the world. It represents the simplicity of this very same world and at the same time shows us how hard it is to find our place in it. The face is left natural: simply white clay with some red glaze; there’s only one decoration – some black to emphasize the eyes. It is placed on a wooden block, painted in black. There are carvings on all four sides – small canals, channeling its energy. The wooden piece is brick-shaped and, even though it’s been smoothed out, its imperfections were left untouched, keeping it as natural as possible and reminding us we’re not perfect. The art piece is stable enough to be placed on a flat surface – table, desk or shelf, and at the same time has hooks on the back for easy hanging on the wall, where it will have a 3D effect. It’s perfect for a gift for someone special or for the next awesome addition to your personal collection.
